Very easy recipe from Nestle.


  1. HEAT milk and cinnamon sticks in large saucepan over medium-high heat until it reaches a boil; remove cinnamon sticks. Reduce heat to medium-low; add rice. Cook, stirring frequently, for 15 to 20 minutes. Add dulce de leche; cook, stirring frequently, for 15 to 20 minutes or until rice is tender and sauce is thickened. Garnish with sliced fresh fruit, if desired.

Lovely caramel taste! Needed a recipe to use up dusty can of dulce de leche in pantry but with minimal effort due to wrist injury. I used Thai sticky rice instead of long-grain, subbed powdered milk for fresh, and it worked beautifully to create a creamy, delicious, low-cost dessert.
