- Preheat oven to 450F and butter a baking dish.
- Combine the mashed potatoes, butter and salt with the beaten egg yolks; pipe into balls, hearts, or other shapes using a pastry bag.
- Place in dish and brush with slightly beaten egg whites.
- Brown in oven.
