This is my husband's recipe. It's also good on chicken,
- 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne
- Combine all ingredients and mix well.
- Use as you would any dry rub.
Very easy to mix, just used the recipe for the breading for Lake Erie walleye.I made a egg bath dipped the fish in, then into the dry mixture, back into the egg bath, back into the dry and coating well then into skillet.I also used a grill or skillet press in the cast iron skillet.
This is good and easy to make. I followed the recipe as written but my family thought it could have used more cayenne pepper as it was too mild for them. It is tasty and we enjoyed it.
Nice rub and very tasty on fish! I made just as directed and found it to be a very nice flavor combination. Used on some tilapia that I pan fried and we really enjoyed - thanks for sharing the recipe!
