Make and share this Drunk Sausages recipe from Food.com.
- 1⁄2 cup Bourbon
- 3⁄4 cup catsup
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons chopped onions
- 1 (16 ounce) package Little Smokies sausages
- Combine all but smokies in a small saucepan; add sausages and simmer for 45 minutes.
- Serve with toothpicks or fancy picks.

My husband loved the sauce and said it would be a great BBQ sauce base. I made these for my kids though and the bourbon taste was too strong. Probably my fault, but not our very favorite.
These are a treasure in our family! Good ol' Grams was famous for bringin these to all partys or havin on hand out at camp! The only difference..we make them with hotdogs...and we call them "DRUNKEN WIENERS" This is a must try recipe....thanks for posting, and bringin back alot of great memories!
