i love this chicken! we've made this a lot only we call it "beer-in-the-butt chicken" - "drunk chicken" is a little less vulgar! but it is probably the best baked chicken i've ever had! everyone that has tried it, loves it!! it is very juicy and has a great flavor! we also only use butter, cavender's greek seasoning, salt and pepper on the outside of the chicken and only the beer inside - though i haven't actually tried this recipe, i will - but i know already that it will be wonderful!!!
This recipe takes the "boring" out of chicken. It comes out moist and tender every time. I use butter and a barbecue spice seasoning (Mrs. Dash would be good too). It's absolutely delicious.
