  1. I just threw it all in a crockpot and heated that way for a party. I did use the half milk/half water as recommended by others. Delicious!

  2. Easy peasy, lots of cocoa flavor, and everyone enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

  3. The night I made this, I had no intention of giving it five stars. I didn't feel that it was any better than one of those cheap hot chocolate packs. We had leftovers. A couple nights later, i had some more. I don't know what happened, but it got sweeter and richer, and was much better upon sitting for a couple nights. So if you don't like it much at first, let it set. Oh my goodness! I didn't have much milk in the fridge. I used not quite 2 cups whole milk and then water, to equal 6.5 cups, as opposed to 6.5 cups water.

  4. I made this as written and it was excellent! I will make this a lot during our long MN winters!

  5. The taste was good but I think I should have used half milk/half water in this cause it wasn't as creamy as I would have liked it to be. Thanks for posting.

Tweaks

  1. It is also wonderful cold; fattening and wonderful. My husband used some in his protein powder. Not the foo foo grocery store ones, but the kind for after a workout.
