Dreamsicle for Adults

"This is a refreshing summer cocktail that is good to sip on a perfect summer evening. I use Cuentra y Tres (43 in Spanish) but any vanilla liqueur or schnapps will work as well. You could even put it in the blender for a frozen drink!"

• Ingredients: 4
• Serves: 1-2

ingredients

• 1 1⁄2 cups orange juice
• 2 ounces vanilla liqueur (or vanilla schnapps)
• 2 ounces heavy whipping cream or 2 ounces half-and-half
• ice

directions

1. Fill highball glass with ice.
2. Add vanilla liqueur
3. Add orange juice.
4. Add heavy whipping cream (or half-and half).
5. Stir well and enjoy!

Easy and delicious too! I used a vanilla vodka, but think that schnapps would be a smidge sweeter! I may try it with Licor 43, next time! I also used 1/2 and 1/2, as it was on hand. Thanks, JustAFoodie, for a yummy adult beverage, that I know I'll be making again!

This is one very tasty cocktail. And it really does taste like those frozen creamsicles that I used to enjoy during my childhood.
