This was good. It did taste pretty close to a dreamsicle. Adding more milk/cream makes it nice and creamy. The only thing I didnt like was the fizziness from the soda. It gave the drink a little weird taste for me. I prefer orange juice in place of it. It was nice to try a different dreamsicle drink, thanks for the recipe!

WOW, who knew? This is a real treat. I used the vanilla and vodka like Andy and I think I booboo'ed by using fat free coffee creamer in place of the dairy half and half. While it still tasted marvelous the creamed didn't want to mix well with the alcohol and/or soda and looked a tad ragged. Go ahead and splurge on the real thing (especially if you'll be sharing it !) because this is delicious.

This is a delight and does taste just like a *dream* I followed this completely except I didn't have vanilla Schnapps, but added two drops of vanilla and 1 tablespoon of vodka. Close, but really no matter. This was so exciting, cause' I had to go through McDonald's to get a coffee this morning, so I could get one of those little cups of cream. It was perfect and so pretty when mixed with the orange soda. Ahh, life is *good* Made for Everyday is a Holiday* July 2009
