Drambuie Spiced Peaches

Yumm, I love fruit desserts. I halved this recipe and did not peel the peaches. (my bad) It was great, we really enjoyed it. Thanks for posting,Chocolati. Made for ZWT 6.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Combine water, sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon stick in a pan and cook over very low heat until sugar dissolves.
  2. Increase heat and bring mixture to a boil.
  3. Boil rapidly one minute.
  4. Remove pan from heat.
  5. Put peaches in syrup and return to heat.
  6. Poach peaches over low heat for 3 minutes.
  7. Let fruit cool in syrup.
  8. Stir in Drambuie.
  9. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
