I LOVE this recipe!!!!!! I initially thought this would be vile.. honestly it's green and well who would think kale could be masked in a smoothie... but it's GREAT!!. It may not be for everyone but it's a great way to get in nutrients especially on a low calorie diet or VLCD. It comes out a bright green and no juicer is required just a blender. This recipe was featured in Woman's World magazine. I usually use 1 tbs Chia seed powder and Mandarine oranges and 1 cup Kale

  1. Cook Kale in pot until tender, about 3 minute Remove and rinse under cold water until cool to touch.
  2. While Kale cooks prep other vegetables and fruit.
  3. Peel the Pear.
  4. Place all items in Blender and Blend to taste.
