"My mom's recipe. I ate this often as a kid, and still enjoy it."

ingredients

• 2 lbs ground beef
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 1 egg
• 4 slices bread, broken in pieces
• 3⁄4 cup milk
• 1⁄4 cup catsup

directions

1. Mix all ingredients except catsup in a bowl and shape into a loaf. Put in a baking dish and top with a strip of catsup. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
