I have been making this for several years. I find it easier to make a double batch (by using 2 cups of peanut butter chips and then the other ingredients, place that in a 9X13 pan and then another batch with 2 cups of chocolate chips and place that on the peanut butter fudge.)

I echo the previous comments. It was good. My family enjoyed it but something was missing. I also had a hard time getting the layers to stay together for some reason. This is a good solid recipe. If you want to add something different try peanuts or any nuts for that matter to dress it up for gift giving.

I like how easy this was to make, I would have never though to try a double decker fudge. But, both the chocolate layer and the PB layer were rather bland. It didn't taste bad, just not very flavorful. If I make it again I will up both the choc. and PB chips. It isn't bad, just not flavorful enough for my family.
