These were a huge hit! First the kids had a blast making them. They rolled them in powdered sugar, cinnamon, or coconut. Then they had the shear pleasure of licking their gooey chocolate hands in the end. Yes, they do resemble donut holes, but once the secret is out, everyone is trying one and they suddenly disappear. Several people asked for the recipe, so I know they went over well. Thanks for sharing this treat as it was a great way to keep the kids busy while I prepared for the next day's holiday crowd. You saved me with this keeper.
Oh, my, my! Where do I start with these little delights. So incredibly simple. Brought these to a potluck and nobody would touch them as they thought they were donut holes. Once they found out they were chocolates they were like vultures going after the kill. All were gone within minutes. I used lite Cool Whip and rolled them in jimmies, sprinkles and coconut. This would be fun to do with kids as long as you keep an eye on their sticky hands. We decided that these might be good with some added rum or liqueur for an adult dessert. Thanks.
