This is my Mom's recipe. I bet there are better ones, this just happens to be what I grew up with.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 3 cups flour
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons yeast


  1. Dissolve yeast in water.
  2. Add half the flour and the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Gradually add flour and knead. Knead until soft.
  4. Set to rise for as much as an hour.
  5. Preheat Oven to 450.
  6. Cook for 10 minutes or until cheese browns.
