I melt the butter, peanut butter and chocolate chips in the microwave. And then waited a few minutes to cool and added the marsmallow. It's so yummy. Thanks GlutenFreeKitten :) Made for Cookbook tag game

These are great! Delicious and so quick to make! I got excited and added the marshmallows fast, so I got a little melting, which created a neat marbling effect. I used 2 T butter and keep them in the fridge to prevent softness/melting. Thanks for sharing! PAC Fall '11

Mmmmmm these are dangerous - I'm liable to eat the whole pan at once! I used a few more chocolate chips (and used Ghirardelli semi-sweet). They are a bit soft if you don't put them in the fridge, but I find that to be the case with most sweets with similar ingredients to these so wasn't surprised that was the case here also. Next time I might try using less butter and more chocolate (maybe 1 cup chips and 2 Tbsp butter). Thanks for sharing your aunt's recipe!

These are GREAT! Great flavor, and so very easy to make. From the other reviewers, I cut the butter to just a couple of tablespoons, and these turned out fine. I used organic peanut butter, which has more oil, so I think that was probably enough. Thanks for posting ~ these are great for kids. Made for Spring PAC 2010!

I love this recipe! It's so easy, the ingredients are usually on hand, and it's especially great for summer since you don't have to heat up the kitchen. I agree with Brooke the Cook that they can be a bit ... droopy, but they still taste great. Yay for a tasty gluten-free dessert!

I brought these to a BBQ this weekend making a half batch since there were only a few of us and as soon as these are removed from the fridge/freezer they melt in several minutes and turn into a big mess. The candy is rich and tastes fine... but I wonder if there is too much butter and that's why they won't retain the correct consistency. Probably fine if you're just looking to grab something out of the fridge as a snack.... they are quick and very easy to do.

5 stars- so easy to make. Just 4 ingredients and 5 minutes from start to finish. My daughters both loved this recipe and it would be fantastic for any child's party- especially a great treat for a child who is celiac. So simple. It was like a rocky-road slice with peanut butter. For any children sensitive to peanuts-just leave out the peanut butter. Cut for me into a bout 20 serves...the size and thickness of the squares will depend on the sized tin used to set the squares in. Photo also to be posted. * Reviewed for PAC Spring '08 *
