Donut Muffins

"I like this donut recipe because it is quick and simple. Oh and they are tasty too. The donuts bake 15- 18 min. @ 350 degrees. You can use any icing or just sugar to top them."

• Yields: 24 muffins

ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup sugar
• 1⁄4 cup melted butter
• 3⁄4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1⁄2 cup milk
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• cinnamon-sugar mixture (optional)

directions

1. Mix all ingredients until batter is smooth. Into lightly greased mini muffin pan, pour each half full of batter. This recipe makes 24. Bake in preheated oven for 15-18 minute Cool and icing or sprinkle sugar or cinnamon on top.
