Enjoy!!!. These were called Bail-bond Beans in Peg Bracken's book" I Hate to Cook Almanack" When I made them for a pot-luck dinner someone asked my daughter what they were called. "Don't know beans" was her answer and that's what we call them now. I like them better cold. We make more than enough for left-overs.
- 1 lb frozen French style green bean, cooked
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1⁄2 cup black olives, sliced
- 1 pinch garlic salt
- 1 pinch oregano
- Mix all ingredients but beans.
- Pour over hot beans and serve.
Awesome hot or cold. We like it cold best though!
FAST,SIMPLE,and so EASY!! and it still tasted Wonderful. Can't get any easier than this.and still have a great taste!!! Thanks,Darlene
We love green beans and are always looking for different ways to prepare them. Who would have ever thought to put black olives with green bean? We loved it! I only used 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and it worked out fine for us. Thanks so much for sharing this, Goldens4.
