  1. This is my DD & her BF's favorite restaurant, so when I found this recipe I was very excited as they absolutely love this queso. Quick & very easy to make but I admit it wasn't exactly the same but very close. We added jalapeno peppers and it really kicked it up. Really good Di and the closest thing I have found to the real thing. Thank you!

  2. This is my go to queso recipe. I absolutely love it. I add charred poblano peppers. I char them on the stove flame and put them in a bowl and peel them and then chop. Adds a nice smoky flavor and a little heat.

  3. This is actually the real recipe, just be sure to cook it properly and add the cheese in gradually to make sure that it all cooks at a decent rate and big clumps dont form, as this is very thick once complete. Add milk to thin it out without losing flavor, rather than using water. Enjoy

  4. I agree that it's not like the original, but I think it's better. Due to health concerns, I've had to start making it with the 2% Velveeta and reduced fat cheddar. Doesn't lose much flavor, but increases the salt. It's also good mixed with my homemade-chorizo-based chili, in a ration of 2 parts queso to one part chili.

  5. easy and wonderful
