Masha'Allah, this recipe is yummy!! I didn't have red onions and replaced them with yellow. I had to replace the chabanelle peppers with yellow, green and red sweet ones. My picky eaters (3 and 2 yr olds) love it as well. AlHamduli Allah!

Loved this! I used 4 big chicken breasts, subbed orange pepper for green and added jalapenos. Everything else was right on. This is cheap, healthy and delicious! Served over brown rice and made my rice taste better ;) Awesome recipe!

I am dominican and love pollo guisado too!! I followed your recipe exactly and its insane and soo simple and yet sooo flavorful. Like all your recipes, simple and flavorful keep em all comin !
