This combination of beer and gin has been around for many a year. This is the closest you will get to the oldfashioned Dickensian classic using modern technology. Best of both worlds!


  1. Pour the stout into a large, sturdy glass and heat it in a microwave for about 1 minute.
  2. Add the brown sugar and gin and stir lightly.
  3. Grate a little of the nutmeg on top.
