If you're tired of paying through the nose for "healthy" cereals that contain things like "cellulose" (aka tree pulp) or dried fruit that's so dessicated it might as well be mummified, then this is a beautiful solution. It's so easy to make a child could do it, and it's extremely easy to customize to your taste. This is my favorite version of DIY cereal, and here's a link to the original recipe:

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 709.77 ml wheat flakes
  • 473.18 ml sliced almonds
  • 473.18 ml unsweetened dried cherries
  • 473.18 ml flaked coconut
  • 236.59 ml golden raisin


  1. Add all ingredients in a large bowl or container.
  2. Stir until combined.
  3. Enjoy!
