Baked beans with a twist -- pineapple, pecans, warm spices and a crunchy topping. This would make a great potluck dish!

I liked these but I think the extra molasses on top wasn't necessary. I'm still debating on whether I liked the pecans in these beans, too. The beans were cooked in a low oven at 300 degrees for 1 hour. Tasted better the next day-they always do. Reviewed for Best of 2011.
