Found this recipe in an old Better Homes and Gardens Cook Book from 1965. It is good warm out of the oven as a side dish or can be used as a dessert. Probably could be put in a pie shell and make a sweet potato pie. It is a favorite of our family.
- Mash 2 cups sweet potatoes.
- Beat 2 eggs
- Thoroughly combine mashed sweet potaoes, beaten eggs, broken pecans, honey, and teaspoon salt.
- Pour into greased 8 inch round baking dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Trim with extra pecans.
