  • Cut the peppers in half lengthwise, remove the seeds, and slice into thick lengthwise pieces. In a blender or food processor, combine the tomatoes, tomato paste, red pepper flakes, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, basil, salt and pepper and pulse until well mixed, but still a bit chunky. Serve with the peppers. (6-8 servings).
