Dilly Bean Salad

ingredients
- 1 (1 ounce) envelope onion soup mix
- 3⁄4 cup water
- 1⁄4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1⁄4 cup oil
- 1⁄4 cup snipped fresh dill or 1 tablespoon dried dill weed
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
- 1 small garlic clove, finely chopped
- 2 lb green beans, cooked or (16 ounce) cans cut green beans, drained
- 1 (16 ounce) can garbanzo beans or (16 ounce) can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 cups fresh sliced mushrooms or 2 cups canned sliced mushrooms
directions
- In medium bowl, blend onion recipe soup mix, water and vinegar. Stir in oil, dill, parsley and garlic. Toss with remaining ingredients; chill.

I am a recently converted pescetarian after watching the movie 'Fast Food Nation.' That's not entirely true, I will eat meat but only if it comes from my boyfriend's cattle farm, someone shoots it during hunting season or it's a pig that's been thrown on the smoker at a pig roast. I know how it was processed so I'm not afraid to eat it. I am also a bartender at a fine dining restaurant in Duncannon, PA - Micheal's Cafe. It's the best food by far that you will get in the area. I am a proud mom of an 8-year-old son that is the apple of my eye.
