This is very good. At the last minute I added the green beans and heat it all together. Thanks Paula :) Made for Zaar Star Game
What a great bean recipe! I made these for the future ILs' anniversary dinner and we enjoyed every bite. The flavors were nicely complimentary, and the recipe was easy to prepare. I used closer to a full cup of mushrooms, 'cause I just love them, and I'd say my red onion was more on the small than the medium side. Otherwise I followed exactly. Definitely a repeat recipe!
Great tasting!!Thanks Linda.
Very tasty combination. Aside from the flavor, a nice feature of this recipe is that if you are cooking a complicated main dish (or several dishes) for the same meal, you can prepare most of this recipe and set it aside before beginning the other(s) and just finish it up (from step 8) as your other dishes are nearly done. Thanks for posting !
This was scrumptious. I presumed that the 1 tsp dill referred to dry dill (?); since I had fresh dill on hand, I used a Tbs of that. Since dill is one of my very favorite flavors I really liked it that way. I'll no doubt be making this many more times.
We usually just have plain steamed green beans, so this was a lovely change with a nice burst of flavor. I didn't have any red onion, so I had to substitute 1/2 a large white onion. The balsamic adds a wonderful tangy-sweet flavor and the mushrooms and onions attribute a lot too. Very easy, very tasty! Between BF and myself we ate the whole lot! Thanks for posting, Paula- this was terrific.
