  1. Combine sugar, vinegar, water, salt and dill weed. Heat to boiling and pour over sliced cucumbers.

Thank you for posting this recipe, My Grandma used to have these in her fridge all summer long. We used them just to snack on or for sandwiches or to top a green salad with. When she passed I recieved her cookbooks and recipies and searched everywhere for it but she had never written it down. They only thing different was she always added onions (yellow, white or red) depending on what she had. Thank you again for saving a great family memory.
