Great salad dressing! Chill for best flavor.
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1⁄4 cup vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 tablespoons dill weed
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- Whisk the ingredients together.
- Chill for 30 minutes.
- Serve over crisp green salad of your choice.
This dressing was delicious. Next time I may lessen the amount of vinegar, simply to our taste. Also, I used fresh dill and added a swig of dill to the serving bottle which everyone noticed. A simple touch to make your dinner table look more gourmet. Thanks for sharing!
Inez, what a wonderful dressing. My husband won't stop raving about it... so now I'm on my way into the kitchen to make a quadruple batch, since the doubled batch I made didn't last long. Thanks for posting this dressing recipe, it is now officially a standard at our house!
