Yum ! Both DH and I like our scallions minced in things like this instead of chopped, and in order to do that well, I added half of the sour cream.. wrong! once blitzed the sour cream was the consistancy of milk ... so my dip in the end was a little more liquid than what was intended in the recipe, NO fault of the recipe of course! (please learn from my stupidity LOL) but the TASTE was great !!! I pan fried baby asparagus tips for 1 minute in a tablespoon of olive oil, added some raw red bell peppers and of course the snow peas and DH and I dipped and dipped until the bowl was wiped clean. DH isn't even a huge fan of raw food LOL. Please see my rating system: 4 excellent stars for a great summer recipe that is fresh and healthy and yummy ! Thanks !
A fresh and perfect dip for my baby carrots and snow peas! I needed a light and summery lift, and this filled the bill! You made my day a little more delightful, thanks!
This was super delish darling Andi! I loved the heat from the red pepper flakes! I also added about 1 1/2 tbs of cilantro to mine because I just felt it would work well and it really did! I wish I had made more! Also this worked very well with low fat sourcream and fat free mayo! Perfect over some blanched green beans! Thanks for posting! YUM! yes it is IT !!! very tasty and gone quickly!! I used no fat sour cream and no fat mayo, dried dill and double the red pepper flakes, plus all the other ingredients except the lemon pepper. Served with fresh veggies (and St. Pat's day green eggs), and enjoyed by all !! Thanks Andi for a good easy keeper!!
