  1. Mix flour, baking powder, salt and dill.
  2. Cut butter into mixture until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in cheese.
  4. Add milk and eggs until moistened.
  5. Spoon mixture into greased and floured 9X5 loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 375 for 1 hour.
  7. Remove from pan immediately.

We enjoyed this as at dinner and DS thought it was like a grilled cheese sandwich. It is good with a cheesy taste. Unfortunately, we could not taste the dill at all. I used 12 oz of grated sharp cheddar (smallest bag of sharp cheddar I could fine) and ended up using 1 1/4C skim milk. I never did get coarse crumbs from adding the butter. I was quite leery putting this into the baking dish since it filled it right up to the top. It rose during baking but did not spill over. Thanks for a nice recipe.
