I was looking for a simple potato salad and this is it! Added just a tablespoon of celery flakes and 1/4 cup of onion from the freezer for crunch. Be careful, this makes about 6 quarts of salad, more then the 8 servings stated.
Oh I also used Miracle Whip, its a midwest thing.
This was really good, frest dill makes all the difference!! Thanks!!
I just made this for supper tonight and it was excellent. The only thing I altered was using low fat sour-cream, adding a chopped dill pickle and a little bit of mustard. I thought it was a little bland before I added the extra ingredients, but boy was it perfect afterward. I can't wait to try it with a bit on chopped onion as well.
I just made this potato salad and put it in the refrigerator to chill. Have to admit, I sampled quite a bit of it before I ever got it there! This is excellent and I am really anxious to have it for dinner tonight (I was so excited, I didn't read the part about the overnight refrigeration) and leftover tomorrow. I added a bit of yellow onion and like the addition of the texture. This is definitely a keeper for me!
This is as good warm as cold...I may make this as a warm side dish one night...I used sour cream substitute cause I am serving this along side chicken and I can't mix dairy and meat...I think I probably trippled the amount of dill because we love it so much and I left out the parsley 'cause I am lazy :) The only thing I may do next time is add some onion, either green or yellow. Otherwise this is wonderful, simple, and tasty...thanks for posting!
Very good and simple, not overpowering. Liked this alot!
This is a nice lighter tasting potato salad.
Dill-icious! The dill gives it such a refreshing flavor. It really is important to let chill sveral hours as written... the dill flavor gets even better. I used reduced-fat sour cream and added chopped onion. Hard-boiled eggs would be great in this, too. I'll have to try that! Thanx for posting.
This is a great alternative to basic potatoe salad. It has a fresh taste and is a snap to prepare. You won't have any left overs with this one. For an even fresher taste, you can add celery.
I can't tell you how many times I've made this recipe!!! Sometimes I add roasted garlic to it. Thank you Felix for a keeper!!!!
