These are great hoagies that I really enjoy making in the summer when you want something hot and good, but don't want to heat up the whole house!!

Ingredients Nutrition

  1. In saucepan, combine velveeta, milk and mustard.
  2. Stir over low heat til smooth.
  3. Saute green onions in butter in frying pan for 1 minute.
  4. Add meat and mix lightly til heated through.
  5. Top/fill toasted hoagie rolls with meat mixture.
  6. Top with cheese sauce.
  7. Top with shredded lettuce and tomato if desired. I like it on mine, my hubby doesn't! :).
  8. Sprinkle with additional sliced green onions if desired.
  9. Place on top of roll if split.
  10. Slice in half on the bias if desired.

I made these for a quick dinner, and I can say that these are both easy to prepare and delicious to EAT! I did use your options of lettuce I tomato, and slightly buttered the rolls before toasting! A great sandwich, and thank you very much for these and I will be making them again, possibly with some jalapeno slices to spice them up. Gotta love that spice! :)

We had these for Sunday night dinner - great! The dijon mustard really makes a difference. Quick and easy - thanks!

Fantastic and really easy! I grilled Kaiser rolls (like you would a grilled cheese sandwich) and used them instead of hoagie buns. I think it made it easier for my kids to handle them. The cheese sauce was divine. I sauted some green pepper with the green onions, and next time I might try mushrooms and red onion as well. My daughter asked me to make them again the very next night!
