This is very morish. Popcorn is so incredibly good for you, we eat tons of the stuff (particularly since daddy gave up chips and I gave up sugar for lent, this has become our lifesaver).

Addictive and good or you, too! I used just under 1/4 cup popcorn kernels. I used a 4-cup Ziplock-type storage bowl. I didn't think a lid would work; thought the popping action would toss the lid off, so tried with loose plastic wrap. Don't walk away from the microwave. I set mine for 3 mins and stood by to watch and listen. The popping was nearly immediate. Nearly half the kernels didn't pop, but after 2mins passed, the popcorn started burning. What did get popped was delicious. I was faithful to the idea of this recipe by not adding anything to it. Tasted better than the bags of microwave "natural' popcorn, and less expensive. My plastic wrap idea didn't work as well as I thought, so I tried again with a lid set loosely on the bowl. Great idea to make your own "air-popped" natural popcorn. I don't mind eating it w/o butter or margarine, or oil or seasonings. Thanks for sharing Perfect Pixie!
