Made for Sharon's Week 5 win in Football Pool 2009. I was looking for recipes to make and when I found this one I KNEW it had to be the one. Both babies are having chafed bottoms due to changes in their formula. I mixed up a batch of this for each grandson and it works wonders. THANK YOU SO MUCH SHARON!

I am sure that this is a sound recipe, but my only comment is... do not go over board with the essential oils, especially with infants. Essential oils are more than smell, they have healing properties. Infants absorb essential oils alot faster than adults. Tea Tree, especially would burn sensitive areas. That said....these two essential oils are the ones I would choose to have in my first aid kit, and ones that I travel with all the time!!!

I put this in a travel-sized spray bottle so I didn't have to rub an already sore bum. Worked very well and even better it didn't leave any residue on our cloth diapers.

Unfortunately, I had reason to use this Diaper Rash Treatment. Baby had a very bad bottom after a stomach bug and I liked that this is oily, not creamy, since she was so sore. She didn't complain at all when I rubbed it on and it seemed to clear up her bottom just as well as Desitin or Balmex.
