Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 12 teaspoons sugar
  • 12 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 apple, cored and cut in small cubes
  • 1 tablespoon raisins
  • 8 slices whole wheat bread

Directions

  1. Mix sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Add apple and raisins.
  3. Cover and microwave on high 1 minute.
  4. Stir.
  5. Cover and microwave for 1 1/2 mins til apple is tender.
  6. Trim crusts from bread.
  7. Please 1 tablespoon of apple mix on each slice.
  8. Form into a turnover, and seal edges with fork.
  9. Toast lightly in toaster oven.
