  1. Prepare cake mix, pour 1/2 of batter in greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan.
  2. Blend filling ingredients until smooth and creamy.
  3. Spread filling over cake batter.
  4. Pour in remaining cake batter.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
  6. Cool completely.
  7. Prepare icing and spread on cooled cake.
  8. Keep cake in refrigerator.

This cake is wonderful! After having one piece my guy suggested I just give him the pan so as not to dirty any more plates!

This worked amazingly, bafflingly well when my sister & I made it. The cake was perfect and moist - the best cake I've ever had! The only problem was that the icing was too runny, but we used "thicken up".

This was very tasty but not what I was expecting. It was not very cake like, husband and I thought it was more like a thick brownie. I'm not sure if that's because I didn't use a box mix, I used recipe #97077, but other than that I followed the directions. Don't get me wrong, this tasted wonderful, I was just looking for something more cake like. Hubby loved this though because he loves cream cheese brownies and cream cheese frosting so he was in heaven!! Thanks for sharing!!
