From Aunty Eve the great hokey pokey-er
- 1 kg lamb chop
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 2 teaspoons curry powder
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1⁄2 cup fruit chutney
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- Mix all but lamb together and pour into baking dish.
- Coat both sides of chops.
- Bake uncovered at 180C for 45min.
I was eager to try this recipe & was glad I did. I this for a small dinner party & go rave reviews. Not one guest found the ingredients overwhelming nor a waste of lamb, NZ Spring or otherwise. This recipe is a keeper.
I'm a great fan of both lamb and curry dishes BUT the ingredients in this recipe totally overwhelm the taste of the lamb. It was a waste of some lovely NZ Spring lamb chops. I highly recommend avoiding this recipe.
