Inez, you deserve this 5 star! Great recipe and yes, served over noodles is just right. I added 1/4 tsp of OXO gravy browning just to give it a richer color. The combination of the horseradish & mustard gives it a nice tang but not overpowering Enjoyed by all Thanks

Inez, this was wonderful! Had it for dinner tonight with egg noodles ... it was so easy to make. The only thing I did differently was to omit the onion (DS hates onions) and unfortunately I didn't have time to let it simmer for the full 40 minutes. But it was still great ... very tasty. Loved the horseradish! My family polished it off (I made more than the recipe says) and I'll definitely be making it again!

This recipe was a great alternative to our family's favorite, Beef Rouladen, which is a very tasty, but time consuming recipe. The Deviled Steak Strips recipe is quick and easy. Everyone loved it. I substituted beef broth for the water to give the gravy a little additional flavor and served it with my homemade dinner rolls. We are looking forward to trying it with mashed potatoes or noodles.

Excellent beef recipe. Was very easy to make. The gravy or sauce was excellent served with your fried potatoe cakes but next time, I'm going to try mashed or noodles as you suggested. Thanks for sharing this one.

I made this for dinner tonight and my husband and I really enjoyed it. I served it over rice. I followed the recipe to a T. The next time I think I would make more meat as 12 oz does'nt make a lot. Thanks Inez for such a good recipe.

As a horseradish lover, this recipe was perfect. The mustard and horseradish blended nicely for a wonderful taste. And the easy preperation makes it a real winner!!

Sooo good, great flavor. This was wonderful and very easy to prepare and make too. The meat was very tender. The horsereadish added alot of great flavor for the gravy. I made mashed potatoes and we poured the gravy on top of them, MMMMMM GOOD!!!

A nice easy recipe that I made at work this morning with 4lbs beef striops (increased the other ingredients accordingly). Very tasty with the mustard and horseradish. I had a herbed tomato coulis that needed using, so that was my tomato sauce, and I added a couple of teaspoons of beef stock powder to the water to enrich the gravy.

Very, very good! Followed the recipe explicitly! Served it over buttered garlic noodles, and we sprinkled Parmesan Cheese on top as well. Bet the leftovers today will taste even better!

I used a piece of round steak that was over one and a half pounds and still had plenty of sauce. Pounded meat and sprinkled with flour before browning, so there was no need to thicken the sauce at the end. Meat was tender and the sauce was delicious.

Very easy to make. I used V8 for the tomato sauce & seafood sauce for the horseradish (didn't realize I was out :-)). I found the sauce cooked down enough that I didn't need to add a thickener.

This really needed to be simmered for a while longer to be really tender but it was a good alternative to the stirfry I usually do with round steak. I added about a 1/4 tsp of spicy Mrs. Dash and about a cup of red wine to the beef broth that I substituted for the water. Both added more depth to the flavor of the sauce. We enjoyed this but enough to make it regularly. Served over brown rice.

I didn't really care for this recipe,, I thought is was just 'okay'. It wasn't bad at all, just didn't suit my taste. I won't be making it again.

I've enjoyed other Inez recipes but I thought this dish was bland.
