My husband and I love oysters. This recipe was so delicious and I got to use my ramekins (wedding gift) that I hardly ever use. I used about 4 dashes of hot sauce which made it hot enough for use and plenty of salt and pepper. Reminded me of my great grandmother's oyster dressing. Thanks Nurse Di.

An awsome recipe and a great southern item. Instead of using ramekins I have saved the shells from some cherry stone clams (cleaned them up real good, soaked in bleach water and ran thru the dish washer 2-3 times) to put the oysters mixture into. The presentation looks great.

My husband and I love oysters. It is one of the few things we actually agree on (ha-ha). This dish was so incredible. I cooked it in a casserole dish but may have to invest in some ramekins. I just think they are cute!! The worcestershire and green onions were the most predominant flavors and made this so yummy. I used 1/4 teaspoon of hot sauce which added to the spiciness but did not overwhelm the dish with too much heat. The cracker crumb topping was a nice touch. Thanks for another outstanding recipe.

one word . . . AWESOME!! I really don't like it when somebody changes a recipe - I added to it rather than change it, does that count? We had several pieces of cooked bacon in the fridge that needed to get used so I diced them up and sauteed with the veg, and I used Chipotle tabasco as that was the only hot sauce we had. We loved this and will make it again and again. Thanks 'ratherbeswimmin'" this is a keeper!

Absolutely phenomenal taste!! I have eaten this almost all of my remembered life but my Dad cooked the recipe and when he passed, the recipe was gone. Mom and I made it but it wasn't the same. This recipe is the same!! I can't thank you enough for posting this!

I made this last night. It is very good. I have always made oyster dressing but this is so my more flavorful than what I've made. I like the texture and it was sooo good. Kids kept eating and eating...lol. Thank you for this delicious oyster recipe....Stephanie
