Dessert Chips

"Feeling the sweet "nom-noms" I was poking through the fridge when I found these (rather old) flour tortillas and nothing to go with them. A bit desperate (we keep the house rather healthy) I spotted the brown sugar and immediately started baking!"

My dad and I live in a small neighborhood just north of downtown Chicago. I'm going to school full-time and eBay for people to make pocket money. Since my dad is kind enough to support me in my dreams I cook for us about 4-5 times a week- so I'm always on the hunt for more recipes! My favorite cookbook: Comes in the form of a TV Channel. I watch FoodTV night and day. (My favorite show? Alton Brown's Good Eats!) One passion: I revel in planning parties. I love to do all events, but with my schedule I've kept it to pretty much just dinner parties. My absolute favorite family time: I have 4 sisters and 1 brother (in MT, IL & CA), none of whom cook. But now that they're starting families of their own I get to tie them to the kitchen and show them how! Biggest Pet Peeve: People walking around the kitchen while I'm cooking. I don't mind it if all 8 of my girlfriends sit at the kitchen table and gab- but I do slap the hands of anyone sticking a finger in my food to sample it unless offered. And people walking around blocking my way? Fugeddabout it!
