Desi's Crescents and Jelly

"I had a can of Pillsbury crescents hanging around from Christmas so I made these for an easy breakfast. You can use any flavor of jelly that you want. I used grape from a local winery.They were really good with a cup of coffee!"

  • 10 ounces crescent rolls, separated
  • 6 teaspoons jelly, any flavor
  • 3 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 ounce pecans, chopped (optional)

directions

  • Preheat oven to 350*.
  • Place 1 teaspoon of jelly on the wide end of each crescent triangle.
  • Roll it up,sealing well so the jelly doesn't ooze out.
  • Sprinkle pecans on top,if using.
  • Sprinkle sugar on top.
  • Bake for 19 minutes.
  • Careful when you start to eat them because the jelly will be like hot lava -- let them sit for a few minutes.
