Discovered this recipe in "Your Good House"......a supplement of "Good Housekeeping". Use one of the two toppings listed....Herb, or Olive/Rosemary.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 (10 5/8 ounce) package refrigerated breadstick dough
  • breadstick, topping (your choice)
  • Herb topping

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme leave
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • Olive-Rosemary toppng

  • 12 cup chopped pitted olive
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary

Directions

  1. Preheat oven as package directs.
  2. Separate dough into strips and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  3. Prepare choice of toppings.
  4. Twish each strip with topping several times to form spiral.
  5. Add topping of choice.
  6. Herb topping:
  7. Brush olive oil evenly over strips.
  8. Top with herbs.
  9. Sprinkle with salt.
  10. Olive-Rosemary Topping:.
  11. Divide olives among strips.
  12. Drizzle with olive oil.
  13. Sprinkle with rosemary.
  14. Bake breadsticks as label directs.
