ingredients

• 3 lbs ground beef
• 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
• 1 cup quick-cooking oats, uncooked
• 1 cup cracker, crushed
• 2 eggs
• 1⁄2 cup chopped onion
• 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic salt
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
• 2 teaspoons chili powder

• Sauce

• 2 cups catsup
• 1 cup brown sugar, packed
• 1⁄2 teaspoon liquid smoke
• 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic salt
• 1⁄4 cup finely chopped onion

directions

1. To make the sauce: Combine all the sauce ingredients; mix well and set aside.
2. To make the meatballs: combine all the meatball ingredients; mix thoroughly.
3. Shape into one-inch round balls; arrange in an ungreased 13x9 inch baking pan.
4. Cover with sauce; bake in a 350° oven for 1 hour, basting occasinally.
