- 118.29 ml molasses
- 29.58 ml honey
- 118.29 ml water
- 59.14 ml vegetable oil or 59.14 ml bacon grease
- 473.18 ml all-purpose flour, unbleached
- 236.59 ml whole wheat flour
- 4.92 ml baking soda
- 2.46 ml cinnamon
- 1.23 ml ground cloves
- 29.58 ml ground ginger
- 59.14 ml raisins, chopped
directions
- Preheat oven to 350*.
- Grease a baking sheet, or cover with parchment paper and set aside. I normally use teflon baking sheets.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the molasses, honey, water and oil, (or room temperature grease).
- In another bowl, mix the flours, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and chopped raisins.
- Stir dry ingredients into the molasses mixture until well blended.
- On a lightly floured surface, knead and roll out the dough to 1/4" thick.,then cut out desired shapes.
- Place on the baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
- Cool on a rack and then in a sealed container.

I love cooking, and reading Christian fiction..I have 5 grandchildren..4 boys and 1 spoiled granddaughter...I also have a black cocker spaniel named Tobey..who is very spoiled..Love computer games, cross stitch and reading cookbooks..I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia almost a year ago, on September 26, 2005....was in an out of the hospital for 8 months, doing intensive chemo...I am doing well now, thanks for all the prayers...
