This is a very special side dish or even main course if you like, especially if you like things like mushrooms, bacon, cheese.....mmmmm! This recipe is primarily vegetarian except for bacon in the stuffing. It does not take long to bake, but must be refrigerated 2 days before baking. This will serve 4-6, depending on the amount you use....Enjoy!

  1. Saute bacon, onion, salt, pepper, & chopped mushroom STEMS in butter until lightly brown.
  2. Remove from heat & stir in cream cheese.
  3. Stuff mushrooms with mixture & top with bread crumbs.
  4. Sprinkle with paprika, garlic salt, & Parmesan cheese.
  5. Refrigerate 2 days.
  6. Add 1/4 cup hot water to baking dish or pan.
  7. Bake 15 minutes at 375°F.
