I made this and added spinach and used cooked shrimp instead of the crab. We loved them! Will definitely make it again..
I made this as a dip and it is delicious! It is a little thick, so I added about 2 tablespoons of skim milk as I food-processed it. We like things a little spicy, so I also added 1/4 tsp. of cayenne pepper. It is super yummy and almost guilt-free!
Oh and I added some bread crumbs for a little crunch.
Turned out great. As suggested elsewhere, breadcrumbs could be a nice addition if you want more crunch. I also recommend using less than a tablespoon per mushroom (standard-size)-- I had a lot of trouble keeping them from falling over into each other, and I had tried to get the biggest ones I could. I'm looking forward to using the rest of the crab mixture in other things too-- I'm thinking I'll get lettuce and turn it into a wrap. :)
looks absolutely delicious. i can't wait to try this, id add some breadcrumbs though. what brand of fat free parmesan cheese do you use?? i have been looking for some for over a year now and i would be so greatful if you could tell me where you get it and the brand. thank you
