Wow, wonderful syrup. I don't think I will buy any ever again. This went great over French toast made with Recipe #408880, Recipe #90674. Great breakfast with sausage and coffee.

  1. In a medium saucepan bring both sugars, water, corn syrup and pinch salt to a boil over medium heat; then boil for 7 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  2. Remove from heat then stir in maple extract.
  3. Let cool for about 20 minutes (the mixture will thicken more as it cools).
  4. Serve warm, room temperature or cold.
  5. Store covered tightly in a glass jar in refrigerator.
