I just felt like something other than a muffin with my morning cup of tea this week, so I made these cookies...They were absolutely delicious. They were a cakey kind of cookie so it went well with my tea. I forgot to take the pic when I still had all the cookies though....so took it when there were a few left. Mine though required 15 minutes in the oven. What surprised me was I actually made 36 cookies....that never happens to me with cookies or muffins I am always off by some. The only thing I didn't do was put in any nuts. But these were so yummy....Thanks for sharing Kitten.

This was an excellent cookie. I only put apples and didn't do the raisins or nuts. They were soooo good! The glaze was awesome too. But you must put it on when the cookies are hot. I used 1/2 teaspoon of apple pie spice instead of the cloves.

Love these soft cookies! I used a flour combination of 1 c. brown rice flour/1 c. white and added pecans. Didn't make the glaze, although I was tempted. (Had to cut the calories somewhere :).

My son's teacher asked for apple cookies because they were tasting a different apple dish every day. This were a huge hit! She said she thinks it is the first time not one cookie was tossed in the trash. Thanks for a great recipe!

These are the best cookies I have ever had. I didnt glaze them, or add nuts/raisins as im not a fan of raisins and im always looking for a healthier option, I also used 2 egg whites 1/2 wheat flour and 1/2 white. Thank you sooo much for this great base for me to play around with.

This cookie is absolutely to die for! I don't care for cloves so I substituted 1/2 tsp allspice & used 1 tsp cinnamon. We used chopped pecans & golden raisins in the mix. Thanks for my new favorite cookie! Made for 123 Hits

Outstanding cookie! I love all the spice flavors that just shine through this moist cookie. The apple and nuts (I used finely chopped almonds) make it such a tasty cookie. The only thing that I'm upset about is that I ran out of confectioner's sugar so I could not make the glaze!! Next time I will - but even plain these cookies are fabulous!
