I HATE (and I know that's a strong word) all light/fat free ranch dressings. I've tried many different brands and none of them are any good. My sister-in-law passed this recipe along...and I've been eating Fat Free Ranch since then! Enjoy...you're in for a wonderful surprise!
- Mix cottage cheese, ranch dressing mix, and water in a blender. Puree until smooth.
While I really like my final product, I think the ingredients are way off. I used 16 ounces of cottage cheese but only 2 ounces (2 packages) of ranch dressing mix because using 4 just didn't sound right. What I came up with was very thick and extremely salty. I ended up adding another full cup of water and what I got was actually very good (though still very strong/salty.) I think maybe this would be best with 2 packs ranch mix, 16 oz of cottage cheese and 1 1/2c - 2c water.
