- 1 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 2⁄3 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
directions
- Measure dry ingredients into medium sized bowl. Add milk and oil, stir lightly until just combined. Drop by tablespoons onto simmering stew. Cook 10 minutes uncovered. Cover and cook 10 more minutes. May add 1 teaspoons dried parsley, and 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder to dry ingredients, gives a little more flavor. I especially like these on a big kettle of beef stew.
